Summary: If you see a bunch of beetles in your house, let them do your thing. If you see a wasp's nest in the backyard, get out the hose. If you see both having been ballooned in size and out to feast...barricade the doors and pray they don't find you.

History: No one's really sure where these monster bugs came from. All we know is that in no time, they turned Sofia, Bulgaria into a breeding ground where the people either get eaten or turned into insectoid abominations. It'll take a ragtag bunch of losers in order to stop the infestation from spreading further.

Notable Kills: Who's to say those bug-men are even alive?

Final Fate: The survivors soon find the nest containing the queen. And the good news is that the one to ultimately confront it is deaf, hence he is able to get an explosion working. The nest is bombed, and it is heavily implied that there will either be a next wave of insects, or the army is here to take care of the rest.

Powers/Abilities: Anyone stung by the wasp variants will slowly turn into a spider-like bug zombie. The queen can emit an ear-piercing screech.

Weakness: They cannot see, so they must rely on sound. Any sound. Conventional means will do just fine.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-The CGI isn't looking too hot, but everything else sure is. It's simply not enough that there are huge beetles and wasps going around killing everything. The latter just had to be able to destroy your mind and make long legs sprout from you as you mind turns to mush. So yes, this infestation kind of bites.

Trivia: -The wasp creatures bear a resemblance to scorpion flies, the most numerous species in the Mecoptera order of insects. They have been around since the time of the dinosaurs, but mostly feed on dead things and rotting plant matter. Their tails serve no other purpose aside from mating.

-Director Kyle Rankin has signed on for two other films following this one. Ehhhhh...where are they now?
